Largest universal library in the German-speaking area handed over after general renovation and extension of its purpose

4. Nobember 2019 : When large teams grow together over many years of joint work, they identify with time through their own narrative – ours is that of the resolutely set out into the unknown and the experience matured to perfection.

In this sense, this house was a real challenge. Nearly nothing was easy. Often a rethink was necessary, a radical change of perspective and nobody can count the creative controversies that had to be led. We have never shied away from hard work. And before we questioned others, we always first reflected on ourselves, with understanding and empathy for the critical gaze of our counterpart.

But together with our clients, we have always found ways that have resulted in a significant historical building in the middle of Berlin, which has been restored to its former glory – a worthy house for the documented knowledge of mankind that builders, users, planners and we can identify with.

To ensure that our mission statement mentioned at the beginning retains its truthfulness and persuasiveness for our next major construction projects, we place more emphasis than ever on the curiosity, creative impatience, disrespect for the traditional and the dynamism that highly qualified young people bring to our team. – Students and graduates, look at this project – we are waiting for you!
