30 years of BAL: From construction management to the management of complex construction projects

We look back with gratitude – and look forward to future challenges

BAL recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. To mark the occasion, we hosted a major celebration in summer, where employees, partners and customers were invited. Together we commemorated the milestones of the past three decades, the people we worked with, and stories from our eventful history. BAL was founded during the period of German reunification, which was a catalyst for the development of our company. With our construction projects, we have played a major role in bringing together the formerly divided capital city and have helped to shape the history of Berlin.

We also used our Jubilee Year as an opportunity to renew ourselves inwardly and outwardly: We modernised and relaunched our Internet presence with a new logo and a new website. We also updated our corporate identity. The company’s change management is being consistently driven forward and is bringing us step by step closer to the BAL that we want to be in 30 years’ time. A change in management is also imminent, which we will report on here shortly. Thanks to these measures, we are well prepared for the challenges ahead, which, as we already know, await us in the form of several ambitious new projects.
